All-season canine gear designed in the Pacific Northwest to perform in all weather conditions. Waterproof. Insulated. Easy on, easy off.
The name Kimbeaux is a tribute to our late boxer pit mix, Kimbo, who passed away at the age of 10 due to degenerative myelopathy. DM is a neurological disease that affects 1 in 10 dogs and there is no present cure for it. Besides the desire to make awesome dog jackets and gear, we want to contribute to raising awareness for DM, championing canine mobility efforts and hopefully finding a cure to this terrible disease impacting so many dogs and their pet parents.
Kimbeaux Canine Gear was designed and built in the rugged Pacific Northwest to deliver all-season performance apparel for active dogs. Waterproof, insulated and made from fine Japanese textiles, Kimbeaux jackets are a snap to put on and take off, making them ideal for runs, hikes or overnight trips in any weather, with minimal fuss, even for those wiley hard-to-dress dogs (like Kimbo).

Notes:
Chest circumference (A) and back length from the base of the neck to the tail (B) are the two primary measurement points for fit, but it is recommended to have belly length (C), neck circumference (D) and belly circumference (E) also fall within the ranges above to ensure optimal fit. Select one size up if your dog is close to the upper end of the range on any of the measurement points A through E.
There is adjustability built into each jacket for chest circumference (A) and belly circumference (D) to account for weight fluctuation and provide more precise fitting, with each size listed above able to be sized down 1-2" through the middle for a snugger fit.
Belly length should be measured from immediately behind front paws to the posterior (and leaving a generous margin for male dogs).
For circumference measurements, using a shoelace or a piece of string and then overlaying on tape measure is an easy way to get an accurate reading.
